Mountain Dew Cheetos are here, but they're only in Japan, obviously

The land of deep-fried soup fritters and cat wine is back with another culinary innovation that has no right to exist outside Cartoon Network. This time, Japan has unleashed Mountain Dew Cheetos, and they're reportedly just as weird as you'd expect.

Available now for $3.50 (plus an undoubtedly exorbitant shipping cost) at JBOX, these specialty Cheetos received a glowing review from Redditor jumblebutt: "I'm still breathing. They taste like sweet lemon lime chips. While they're not as gross as I expected, they certainly aren't enjoyable. It's a pretty weird taste."

Whether they're stranger than Frito-Lay Japan's last soda-chip frankenfood -- Pepsi Cheetos -- is debatable (X Games athletes are probably pretty amped), but if you need to know for yourself, you'd best order now. These guys are limited edition only.
