Thanks to the hard work of food bloggers, you can now eat Nutella Pop-Tarts or even Pop-Tart burgers at home. But there is something to be said for the classic simplicity frosted strawberry Pop-Tart. The only problem with it is its size... until now. Behold, strawberry Pop-Tart "slab pie". And you can make it at home.
There's no cutting corners on a monster like this, so you're going to be making your own jumbo crust. After you've gone through that business with the food processor and refrigerating overnight (or asking your mom to do it for you), you're going to place 1lb of sliced strawberries between two 10"x14" pressed pieces of dough. Once it's all wrapped up, you pop that beast in the oven for about 20 minutes. Then glaze and sprinkle it to make your dreams come true... provided your dreams are to make yourself look tiny by holding a giant Pop-Tart.
