Your tomato soup needs these grilled cheese fries

Whether you're eating shoestring, crinkle-cut, or waffle fries, they can always be improved with cheese. Except cheese fries aren't the friendliest to messy eaters, and they also pose some portability problems. Enter your culinary lord and savior Oh, Bite It! with a vital recipe for grilled cheese fries that changes snacking as we know it.

These gooey treats are ingeniously crafted out of Pillsbury Crescents and Velveeta cheese. To kick things off, you just need to roll out a bunch of Crescents into a giant block of dough, line it with cheese squares, and then top it with another layer of dough. That massive sandwich gets cut up into long fry-shaped strips, which are placed in hot oil until they turn a beautiful golden-brown. Once you've let them cool and drain, they're ready to eat. Serve with ramekins of tomato soup, or, if you're unflinchingly Canadian, leftover poutine gravy.
