Crisis: A Velveeta shortage is looming

First, we had wine shortages. Then, Sriracha shortages. And now, horror of all horrors, there's a developing Velveeta shortage plaguing a weary nation.

According to Advertising Age, some East Coast grocery stores have been reporting Velveeta deficits, with one Brooklyn spot even claiming they won't see new shipments until February. Kraft says the issue is merely due to "seasonal demand" and that it'll be short-term... but they clearly don't appreciate the gravity of the situation. Because February?! What are the Velveeta faithful supposed to do without their queso dip on Super Bowl Sunday?

Some exceptionally cruel, cheese-hating Bond villain must be messing with us all... or Belvita is finally making its play to replace the "cheese" with healthy stuff.
