The brisket donut exists, and it is obviously in Texas

Unless you're in Dunkin' Donuts China, savory donuts aren't much of a thing. The breakfast pastry world still favors powdered sugar and cream fillings, but one Houston shop is making an impressive case against sweet with their new brisket donut.

According to Eater, this meat marvel features a heap of brisket dripping with BBQ sauce and caramelized onions, on top of a honey butter-glazed donut. It's a special that the Glazed shop owners have been developing for a while, made to celebrate the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo next year. Unfortunately, since that rodeo is next year (March, to be exact), the donut won't be available until February, but it's definitely going to be worth the wait. Glazed plans to have several rodeo specials in place by then, meaning this guy could be getting a Big Red-glazed sibling. Carefully monitor Glazed's donut slate for updates.
