When we teamed up with GE to develop the face-meltingly hot 10³² K hot sauce, made from the first- and second-hottest peppers in the world, we went all out.
First, we enlisted Steve Seabury of High River Sauces to help develop the recipe -- which means we brought in a guy so dedicated to hellacious peppers, he equipped his greenhouse with a wall of amplifiers to blare heavy metal at his plants. Then, once the sauce was perfected, we visited GE’s futuristic research facility in Niskayuna, NY, to somewhat bravely test the results on thermal camera.
But here’s the thing: all you have to do to make this mouth magma at home is follow the recipe in the video above -- no wall of amps required, though if you want to rock some power chords through your bluetooth speakers, that’s cool. Just take the unholy alliance of Carolina Reaper, Trinidad Moruga Scorpion, and Ghost Chili peppers, and then throw in some vinegar, lemon, garlic, and apple. Then stand back, and whatever you do, don’t touch your eyes.
