Here's what you need:

  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 beers (plus however many extra beers you personally need to get through cooking things)
  • 5lbs mussels
  • 5lbs hot Italian sausage links
  • 1lb blue cheese
  • 10 cloves garlic, chopped

Let the garlic simmer in olive oil for a couple minutes, and if you're not a wuss like those CFL players, throw in a dash of chili pepper flakes.

That's sausage. Add all 5lbs and cook it through.

Douse everything in two cans of your favorite craft beer -- this one's a dark stout.
