How to Make Sausage, Beer & Blue Cheese Mussels

Here's what you need:
- 1 stick butter
- 2 beers (plus however many extra beers you personally need to get through cooking things)
- 5lbs mussels
- 5lbs hot Italian sausage links
- 1lb blue cheese
- 10 cloves garlic, chopped
Let the garlic simmer in olive oil for a couple minutes, and if you're not a wuss like those CFL players, throw in a dash of chili pepper flakes.
That's sausage. Add all 5lbs and cook it through.
Douse everything in two cans of your favorite craft beer -- this one's a dark stout.
Let it simmer until it looks like this.
Dump in every last one of those mussels.
Smother said mussels in the entire pound of crumbled blue cheese. Seafood is healthy!
A trick you should attempt with every meal ever from now on: chop up a stick of butter, throw it on top, then cover for about 5 minutes.
Keep it just under a boil, and check to make sure all those suckers opened.
You did it, congratulations! Now you get to have annoying people come to your place for the Super Bowl every year from here on out.
