Maple Moose is Canada's newest Lay's flavor, of course

When Lay's challenged America to vote to add Cheesy Garlic Bread, Sriracha, or Chicken & Waffles potato chips to the permanent collection, garlic bread beat the crown right out of its rivals' spicy/greasy hands. This week, it was time for Canada's final decision. Lay's tasked the Canucks with choosing between Creamy Garlic Caesar, Grilled Cheese & Ketchup, Perogy Platter, and Maple Moose -- and they obviously went Moose. All four of the chip flavors got a run in grocery stores between July 30 and October 16 for the sake of democracy, but it turns out discerning Canadian chip lovers couldn't resist the Moose. It'll hit the market (for real this time) in November, and its creator Tyler LeFrense is set to earn 1% of future sales, along with his $50k prize. Also, the whole contest was repped by Martin Short for some reason, so make sure to watch this while you eat your smuggled Maple Moose Lay's:
