Peanut Butter Marshmallow Pizza, Blacklight Cocktails dominate SXSW Interactive Cookbook
Your s'mores French toast might be on point, but are you cooking like the dude who founded Foursquare? Or Mark Zuckerberg's sister? Didn't think so. The good news is that you finally can thanks to the Official SXSW 2014 Interactive Cookbook, a treasure trove of recipes from noteworthy former speakers at the Austin fest published by Cookbook Create.
On top of Dennis Crowley's mac 'n cheese and Randi Zuckerberg's Bald Eagle Cookies, this collection also features such culinary feats as this Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Marshmallow Pizza from Tim Leake of Hyper Island (a digital training organization, not a destination for overly-caffeinated toddlers). We tested the super simple dessert, which took about 10mins to make and about three to eat.
If cooking isn't your style, there are also these Blacklight Cocktails from the MIT Media Lab. Realizing that ingredients like tonic water are naturally luminescent, and that vitamin B2 glows pretty intensely, the scientists mixed up these drinks with specific music picks for the ultimate rave beverage.
There's plenty more packed into the SXSW Interactive Cookbook, and, even if you didn't snag one at the actual festival, you can still get it at the online merch store. It beats the hell out of cracking open a glow stick and pouring it into your beer.
