Oreos already added "horror parody stars" to their resumes last Halloween, but it turns out they have another untapped skill in space education. An Australian purveyor of telescopes dropped this amazing poster of the moon phases as explained by Oreos, and it's easily five times more effective than those dumb flashcards you used in fifth grade.
Using varying amounts of cream filling and the top cookie, Optics Central illustrates the eight key stages of the moon cycle in the most delicious way possible. There's even a surprise Golden Oreo cameo as the Sun, though somehow Watermelon Oreo's breakout role as Saturn's radioactive moon was left on the cutting room floor. Check out the full-length poster below, then smugly ask your Chips Ahoy!-eating friends what their cookies taught them today.
