Deadbeat roommates, beware! The restaurant of your reckoning is here -- a new pop-up in Paris (sponsored by dishwashing liquid brand Mir) is offering diners the chance to pay for their meals by washing corresponding amounts of plates, glasses, and silverware.
Craving the sea bass? I'd better be able to see my face in that skillet! Wanna end your meal with their panna cotta? It'll cost you one cooking pot. And if you're looking to cut down on your expenditure of elbow grease, you can always get the tomato gratin for a mere four pieces of silverware. What a bargain!
The pop-up is coming to Paris from October 16th-18th, and will be located inside 6th arrondissement restaurant La Bastide d'Opio. One lunch and two dinner services will be offered on each day, so be sure to make your reservations and get ready -- this is one place that wants (vigorous) scrubs.
