A poké bowl is not some special kitchen accessory for Pokémon Go -- it's essentially raw fish in a bowl, along with soy sauce and sesame oil. Which doesn't sound particularly appetizing! But the beauty of the modern poké bowl is that it can be any kind of raw fish, with different sauces and veggies to liven it up. And poké bowls, like Pokémon, are blowing up. OK, maybe not quite like Pokémon, but they're becoming huge in their own right.

They're also gorgeous. If you can use your phone briefly for something that isn't a kids game, we think you'll agree after you feast your eyes on the most delicious poké bowls from across Instagram.
