The war of man versus snake took a turn for the worse when Jon Voight was eaten in Anaconda, but mankind is back at the top of the food chain thanks to one heroic pizza shop. Fort Myers, FL pizzeria Evan's Neighborhood Pizza is now selling a $45 pie topped with python meat, ostensibly in order to combat overpopulation of the snakes in the area. But also because they taste good, apparently.
The pizza's called "The Everglades" and is also topped with frog, alligator, and swamp cabbage, offering up an experience that probably beats swimming through the marsh with your mouth open. Evan himself is also no stranger to innovative accoutrements, having previously served pizzas with alligator sausage and spaghetti.
Next on their list? "Roadkill" pizza, with armadillo, raccoon, and possum -- but they haven't found a supplier yet. We'll probably stick with gator spaghetti.
