An Ex-Employee Reveals What McDonalds Was Like in the '70s

McDonald's has changed a lot in the nearly 70 years since its inception, and it's easy to forget that Ronald McDonald wasn't always there to somewhat-creepily tuck us in at night -- even before he got all hipster-ified.

In an effort to remind the rest of us there was a time before Quarter Pounders, when the vaunted Big Mac was still a fresh new menu item, a former Golden Arches employee took to Reddit and shared his experiences working at the fast food giant from 1970 to 1973.
