Fans of fast-food ephemera, rejoice! Er... you can probably rejoice, that is. Two Redditors/Taco Bell employees (noble souls cobraguy555 and DarkSoulsNoobish) have both reported seeing evidence of the Beefy Crunch Burrito (here mysteriously termed a "Beefy Fritos Burrito") returning to Taco Bell's menu sometime soon -- after not being seen since last Spring.
No word yet on whether this menu change will affect the entire nation or just the Taco Bell testing ground of Ohio, or if the Fritos in question will be Flamin' Hot. However, most evidence points to regular Fritos. Expect it to be paired with cilantro rice instead of Mexican rice, and no sour cream -- a move some aficionados are dubbing a "stripped-down" Beefy Crunch.
Taco Bell hasn't yet commented officially on the burrito's return. BUT THEY CAN'T HIDE FOREVER.
