Free ice cream is hard to say no to, especially when it comes in sandwich form.
To celebrate its five-year anniversary, Full Moon Festival is handing out free handmade ice cream sandwiches from 1-8pm today. You can find the Full Moon ice cream truck first in Soho, in front of Café Select from 1-4pm, and then in Bushwick at Roberta's from 5-8pm. The sandwiches are made by Brooklyn-based catering company Bar de Jar and are sure to be delicious.
You're definitely going to want to hit up both the Manhattan and Brooklyn offerings, so best to cancel all of your plans today. And maybe pack a fake mustache and top hat so no one thinks you're being greedy?
Full Moon Festival is coming up on August 1st on Governors Island, and will feature acts like Yelle and Wolf + Lamb. Find out more about the festival here.
