Macy's now has a super-legit Italian restaurant in it

Since you likely already have all the sensible cardigans you'll ever need, here's another reason to step foot in the Herald Square Macy's: a completely legit sixth-floor restaurant with sick views of the Empire State Building. Dodge those terrifyingly cool wood-slat escalators and take a direct elevator to score eats created by consulting chef Jonathan Benno of The Lincoln and exec chef Jarett Appell (formerly of Donatella), including veal meatballs w/ sheep's milk ricotta, braised beef short rib with polenta, Gorgonzola, and horseradish gremolata, and a pizza covered in creme fraiche instead of cheese, then topped with speck and caramelized onions.
