Big names create pastries and dinner in Gowanus

Proving Gowanus can bake more than just pies and... more pies, Runner's serving pastries, hard cider bread, and vanilla rum syrup-soaked croissants filled w/ almond cream worked up by Per Se's former head baker. There's also breakfast and dinner from a Blue Ribbon vet like duck pastrami w/ beer mustard, and spaghetti alla chittara with conch ragu, also the preferred big-brand spaghetti sauce of the Lord of the Flies kids on the nights they weren't busy killing each other with boulders.
