The next evolution of the ramen burger deliciously knocks off Minetta Tavern's Black Label
First, there was Chef Keizo Shimamoto's ramen burger. The line was long. You didn't wait in it
But there is another. Carroll Gardens pastrami ramen innovator Dassara turns one year old today and they're celebrating by creating 200 ramen burgers of their own. And because why not just keep pushing it, the patty between their ramen frisbees is their best imitation of Minetta Tavern's famed Black Label burger: a short-rib/brisket/dry-aged trimmings blend that's topped with caramelized onions -- theirs also gets Cabot white cheddar and their own secret sauce.
So again: 200 Minetta Tavern-ish burgers, ramen bun, Dassara. Go get em.
