After disappearing for a half decade, Phao has returned in a new, intimate location rocking decor best described as industrial Thai and a locally conscious menu (fish and shellfish caught in the bay; area produce) featuring the likes of Red Curry w/ Shrimp, Scallops & Squid and Grilled Lemongrass Chicken w/ Green Papaya Salad. Late night, the resto converts into a lounge, mixing cocktails like the Jalapeño Hibisco Caipirinha and the Elderflower Margarita -- elder flowers being why you go to these cougar-packed lounges in the first place.
