Through Jan 6th, Belmont's iconic Genoa's offering a special menu that really has nothing to do with the holidays or the new year or even John Cusack murdering the whole world, but who cares, because it includes braised pork cheeks, elk loin, and caviar-covered sturgeon.
Currently helmed by chef Jake Martin, Genoa is the iconic Belmont Italian restaurant that's been home to a number of renowned chefs. Martin deserves the same consideration, as he serves a five-course tasting menu that changes monthly, reflecting his dedication to seasonal eating. All the courses are expertly paired with a selection of wines designed to complement the food, which includes cured salmon, lamb loin, gnocchi, and more. At 40+ years old, Genoa is doing things right.
