Real happy hour heroes in Pacific Beach

Pancakes at Firehouse Pacific Beach

What's better than brunching on a rooftop? Why, brunching on a rooftop overlooking the Pacific Ocean, of course! At Firehouse you get just that, in addition to a killer happy hour (w/ $5 Moscow mules on Fridays) and DJs spinning mad beats into the night at a Pacific Beach eatery and lounge. Their brunch menu is extensive and perfect for warding off (ahem) ill feelings, specializing in comfort foods lifted from a bunch of different cuisines, and including stuff like chilaquiles smothered in chorizo, sour cream, and a fried egg, as well as chicken and waffles with real Vermont maple syrup.

They've also got firefighting-themed sections of their menu titled "Light Duty" and "Rescue", the former consisting of healthier fare and the latter, well, let's just say it includes their Firehouse BBQ Baby Back Ribs with fries and slaw, so you may just need to be rescued from yourself.
