Bacon mac-and-cheese burgers in SoDo

Henry's Mac & Cheese Burger

When you're hankering for man-sized portions of some serious pub eats, you really have only one place to go: that pub owned by Walter's brother-in-law on Breaking Bad Henry's Tavern. So thank God there's three of them: the PDX original, one in Plano, and now this brick-heavy 270-seater in SoDo from the crew behind places like Cutters and Palisade.Henry's is located right next to one of the 'hoods most popular destinations... well two, if you include Deja Vu's Dreamgirls AND Safeco Field.Inside, two separate dining areas and a lounge fitted with three 80in flat-screens wrap around a gleaming open kitchen where they're cooking up things like the All American Burger w/ mac & cheese, applewood smoked bacon & an Elysian Immortal cheddar sauce, shown above.Additional eats include a massive plate of poutine-style waffle fries topped w/ cheese curds and an onion gravy made w/ an Elysian stout. In back, there's a massive 360-degree bar with garage-style doors that open onto Occidental Ave, and a massive beer list stocked with 100 brews, including local faves like Northwest Brewing Company's Hoppy Bitch IPA and a red from Elysian named for the one place to go after drinking a few of 'em: Men's Room.
