Now open in H-wood from two East Coasters, VE is a 36-seat, casual Italian-inspired eatery and wine bar featuring distressed metal tables, Edison bulbs, B&W photography from a local artist, a carefully curated winelist (from a NYC sommelier), and grub like goat cheese bruschetta with caramelized onions and crispy prosciutto, mushroom and fontina cheese flatbreads, and a chorizo and piquillo pepper-stuffed grilled cheese, Spanish style (so... grilled cheesth?).
