26 Amsterdam Instagrams You Need to Follow Right Now

While living in Amsterdam, it can be easy to forget that not everywhere has gorgeous canals, incredible food, and strangely fascinating weirdos on every other corner... but that does explain all the great Instagram accounts. So, after combing through approximately 1.2 million pictures of the Iamsterdam sign, here are the 26 local Instagrammers dishing out the sweetest eye candy to those with sugary cornea cravings.

With the city as his main muse, Seth Carnill manages to make that cropped-square Instagram format look expansive and sweeping.

Have you heard of @humansofny? This account (by Debra Barraud -- @debrabarraud) is the same thing, different city, and has equally charming insights into the patchwork of (often eccentric) locals who make up the Amsterdam scene.

"Bart's little book" is actually the work of two globe-trotting young women named Emily and Maartje, who interweave sun-drenched photos of Amsterdam hotspots with hipster-friendly travel pics from around the world. (Look for their work in Dutch ELLE, Harper's Bazaar, and Cosmopolitan, too.)

Kitty de Jong mixes misty Amsterdam images with shots of greener places outside the city and beyond.

If you're a fan of attractive blonde women rocking feminized menswear, this fashion feed will totally be your jam.

Marius is a man who knows how to lay out a good photo, making even unsavory spots like back allies look so alluring, you will stare slack-jawed down them in a way that would probably make the police a little nervous IRL.

When winter comes, the flowery Instagrams evaporate... and this account becomes active. Thanks to lots of contributors and some seriously stunning subjects, these light installation photos should be enough to warm your cold Instagram feed until the sun returns.
