International Wine Guild

This Saturday the IWG hosts a free, comp'd-vino open house at the Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, designed to fill in both enthusiasts and pros on their Level 1 course: a two-day seminar where you'll taste at least 25 wines from three continents and leave with stained teeth and a clouded memory, or, if you're already well-versed, a "certificate degree" of either Sommelier, Wine Manager, or, for the shy, possibly hideously deformed wine manager, Cellar Manager.
