Austin Eastciders

Launching tomorrow at Longbranch (with free plates of Franklin's brisket and pulled pork), Eastciders is the alco-baby of a UK transplant who started a Bristol cider bar before deciding to bottle his own "Gold Top": a mix of 12 nearly inedible (but ripe for fermenting) bittersweet/sharp varieties of apples with bizarre names like Bloody Butcher and Brown Snout -- if you've ever given an apple to a teacher, you know exactly where that name comes from.
