Friday, February 21st: Fight the cold weather blues with brown liquor as The Urban Grape (with an assist from Four Roses Distillery) launches their first private single barrel bourbon dubbed Urban Bourbon (see what they did there?). From 5-7pm (at UG's South End location), Master Distiller Jim Rutledge will be pouring tastes, signing bottles, and schooling you on this specially curated whiskey created by TJ Douglas (of Urban Grape and Four Roses).
Saturday, February 22nd: Join the Boston Ski & Sports Club for the Winter Warrior Pub Crawl starting at Kings (12:30pm). Enjoy drink specials and free samplings and apps as you and your crew charge your way through five Boylston Street bars. Tickets (with complimentary t-shirts) are $15 for members, $20 for "civilians", and $70 for a group of five.
Saturday, February 22nd: Rock Bottom Brewery hosts a free happy hour meet-and-greet (4-5:30pm) with your broken-hearted savior of the mid-grunge era: Big Head Todd and the Monsters. There will be a Q&A session, a few live acoustic tunes from their new album Black Beehive, and special giveaways.
