5 Dallas essentials for the weekend

Dallas Event of the Week

Friday, September 5th: Fall means back to school. Here's a class you'll actually want to attend. The Ranch is hosting an Evening with the Whiskey Professor, where they will go over the history of bourbon. A live bluegrass band will be playing and passed appetizers will be circling.

Stoney LaRue

Saturday, September 6th: You don’t have to be great at grammar when you put on awesome music festivals, and the Most Good Music Festival is one of the mostest awesomest! Stoney LaRue and Jack Ingram will be headlining and proceeds from ticket sales and food items will help benefit the Salvation Army in providing meals for North Texans.

Big Design Conference

All Weekend: The Big (D)esign Conference is one of the most unique events to hit Dallas this year -- a three-day extravaganza that will kick off Thursday and focus on technology, film, and video games. It will be full of workshops, speakers, demonstrations, and parties (of course). You will have the ability to interact with some of the biggest names in Hollywood and the gaming industry.
