40 food trucks. One festival.

Dallas Event of the Week
At the Texas Food Truckin' Fest, more than 40 trucks (Gandolfo's, Say Kimchi, Shortcakes Bus) will be lined up to give you plenty of options to curb (curb -- food trucks -- get it? Sigh...) that appetite. There will also be an abundance of live music and beer. It’s all going down at Globe Life Park this Friday and Saturday.

Thursday, April 24th: Hopefully by now you have been to Malai Kitchen -- because it’s delicious -- but if not, kill two birds with one stone and go there for the food AND their new seasonal beer! Debuting the third member of their house-brewed beer line-up, they now have a chocolate, coconut, and chili porter on tap. Continue Reading

Friday, April 25th: Cook Hall will be hosting a dinner pairing hard-to-get beers like Saint Arnold’s Divine Reserve 13 and their Bishop’s Barrel #5 with beef short rib tacos with kimchee and cilantro, and a rack of lamb with smoked chili glaze and Spring pea puree. More info here

Friday, April 25th and Saturday, April 26th: Undoubtedly you have an extra $300K or so laying around that you could drop on a fancy collector car. But, just in case you were going to spend that on something more practical, you can still just go and hang out at the Collector Car Show and Auction in the Dallas Market Center and look at the things that you (possibly) can’t afford.

Saturday, April 26th: The only way to be ready to go when it’s game time is to practice. So, even though these zombies aren’t real (yet!), it can't hurt to prepare at the Zombie Race in Forney. With secret obstacles that they haven’t disclosed and zombies who are trying to eat your brains (take your "health" flags), this will no doubt prep you if The Walking Dead ever becomes real life.

Saturday, April 26th: Are you one of those people who can only dance after a few drinks? Well, good news, to celebrate the debut of their new Texas Pils, Community is throwing a party and you can get in on it. The beer will flow like wine, there will be music and dancing, and they will have BBQ plates available.
