Hops & Handrails and rock and roll bar crawls
Denver
Event of the Week
Left Hand Brewing Company is stoked to announce the return of their Hops & Handrails festival, and you too should be stoked. The brewery will be hosting some of the finest craft breweries right next to a 30ft ski ramp. Enjoy the wares of said breweries along with local food while watching all-day snowboarding competitions. Thursday, March 27th: If you drink beer and think you’re funny (most of us do), cruise over to RiNo for the Epic Brewing Draw Off. Five teams of comic artists are going to be competing in a live drawing competition where the theme is selected by the audience. Head over to watch, drink free beer, and possibly compete in all the tomfoolery. Continue Reading

Thursday, March 27th: Summit Music Hall is hosting a night of jazzy-funkiness with none other than Nightmares on Wax. George Evelyn will be taking over the turntables to get you acquainted with the electronic hip-hop production he has been exploring for years. Get all the details here

Friday, March 28th: To help do their part during Colorado Craft Beer Week, Mike Wright Gallery is hosting the Oskar Blues Beer and Food Pairing. In collaboration with six restaurants, the brewery will be pairing six of their beers with (you guessed it) six dishes to be served that evening. There'll be live music afterwards to help you work off all that beer/food. Grab your tickets here

Saturday, March 29th: Since Saturdays are so day-drinking friendly, get yourself to Casselman’s Bar & Venue to take part in the Denver Rock-N-Roll Pub Crawl. Along the tour, you’ll be taken to see four separate performances at four different pubs throughout Downtown.

Sunday, March 30th: The Sheraton Downtown Denver is acting as a showroom for the Second Annual Festival of Balloons. Go see some of the amazing art put on by the world’s top balloon artists -- over 200 pieces will be showcased! It’ll be cool, we promise.
