TWO massive beer festivals await you this weekend

Michigan Summers and Michigan beer. Easily in the top 10 reasons why this state is downright wonderful. You can celebrate both of these things this weekend at the Detroit Summer Beer Festival at Campus Martius. They have more than 200 beers lined up, which include everything from local faves like Atwater and Motor City Brewing to out-of-towners like Evil Twin and Green Flash. Cheers to beers!

Friday, June 20th: Detroit River Days kicks off Friday and has good stuff going on all the way through Monday, when the Ford Fireworks will be on display. River Days events include Jet Ski demos, sand sculptures, and local bands along with plenty of food vendors to keep you going.
Saturday, June 21st: If you haven’t attended a Saturday Night Dance Party at New Center yet this Summer, what have you been doing with yourself? This Saturday is the Lindy Hop Dance Party, so you can get down with your jazzy self.
Saturday, June 21st: You just can’t have enough beer festivals, so in addition to the Detroit Summer Beer Fest, you’ve also got the 3rd Annual Wild West Summer Beer Fest going down at the Royal Oak Farmers Market. More than 100 craft beers, Slow’s, McClure’s Pickles, and cowboy hats can't possibly be a bad thing.
