Saturday, May 24th: In collaboration with Red Bull Music Academy, TV Lounge is throwing a Movement after-party dubbed Soul Clap’s House of Efunk… a 12-hour extravaganza starting at midnight on Saturday and rolling right into noon on Sunday.

Sunday, May 25th: Konkrete Jungle Detroit is presenting a slew of DJs at The Majestic for yet another after-party. Doors open at 10pm and you’re welcome to stay until 4am.

All Weekend: So it may not be directly related to Movement, but certainly in the same spirit, it’s time for Soul Skate 2014, which combines soul, funk, and disco, and puts it all on roller skates. Thursday through Sunday there will be free soul food and some of the funkiest skaters you’ve ever seen.
