Ferndale’s inaugural Restaurant Week kicked off on Monday. Local faves like Imperial, Local Kitchen and Bar, and One-Eyed Betty’s are offering $10, $20, $30, and hopefully mostly just $10 dining options.
Thursday kicks off a celebratory weekend of Detroit foodstuffs with Dine Drink Detroit. Fifteen dolla dolla bills-es will get you some eats and at least one drink at 13 of the city’s bestest spots, including Mercury Bar, Slow’s, and Green Dot Stables

1,000 hand carved Jack-o'-lanterns (jesus), the Headless Horseman, and girls dressed like on-a-wrecking-ball-Miley-Cyrus highlight Hallowe'en in Greenfield Village. They also offer a tasty Fall dinner package at the 19th-century-themed Eagle Tavern.
Detroit non-profit Arts and Scraps -- which uses recycled materials to make classroom materials -- is hosting a dinner, auction, and (-->) beer tasting (<--) fundraiser sponsored by Dragonmead. Auction items include Tigers and Pistons suites
Saturday, October 12th
