Make your way to Eastern Market this Thursday for the second annual Eastern Market After Dark, as part of the ongoing Detroit Design Festival. Yes, there’ll be galleries, installations, and all that jazz -- but just as important, there'll be tons of food and drink (Supino’s and Guns + Butter, to name a few). Oh yeah, and it’s free! Be there between 7-11p.

Treat yourself this weekend (and next week, too!)... it’s Detroit Restaurant Week! This means cheap food all over the city, and Uber is hooking people up with cheap rides, so have a beer or four and let them do the driving.

So, apparently there’s an official Cornhole Host Committiee -- and they want you!... and a friend -- to compete in this year’s Detroit Cornhole Championship at Roosevelt Park. This one’s for all the marbles, and costumes are encouraged -– so duh, you’re dressing up. But don’t forget to sign up...
