12 Things You Must Do in Miami This February
We already told you about Thrillist’s Barbecue and The Blues party on February 19th, so you should have your plans for the month sorted... except for all the other days, which is why we've assembled a list of 12 things you must do in Miami this month, from Super Bowl parties to a boat show and everything in between...
Tongue & Cheek's 2nd Annual Super Bowl Watch Party
From boozy brunches that last until dinner to parties for every holiday, these guys know how to party, so you’re coming here if you want to skip that whole host thing and enjoy unlimited Super Bowl eats for $35 and an open bar for $50. Want both? You can have it all for $75.
The Ultimate Super Sunday Party
Football-themed dancers, body-painted models, liquor specials (like $5 shots and $20 beer buckets), and a pool party with a live DJ. You’ll have forgotten all about the Super Bowl by kickoff time.
Tailgate at E11EVEN
They are teaming up with Pride and Joy BBQ to bring you four straight hours of pre-game party with an open bar and barbecue out in the parking lot. You can also stay to watch the game on their massive screens, and, if you're up to it, their cirque du soleil-style after-party.
305 Beer Fest
Concrete Beach Brewery, Biscayne Brewing, and Miami Brewing Co. all in one room? It almost makes up for the fact that it’s at the Miami Airport Convention Center. Almost.
Nerd Nite
The second week of the month is gonna get even better in Wynwood with the return of this nerdy event featuring topics like weird Miami history and the science behind science fiction. You might as well learn something useful while you’re drinking.
Progressive Miami International Boat Show
Shop for your newest yacht... what, you can’t afford a yacht? Okay, well, then watch really, really rich dudes (and the women who “love” them) shop for THEIR newest yachts while you check out the latest floating toys/gadgets.
Art Wynwood
Last year’s Art Basel was apparently just the beginning, because now Art Wynwood is bringing shows/parties to 70 mind-blowing galleries over five days.
Sud Swap
If underground beer made by locals is more your thing, head to Sud Swap, where heavy-hitters like Cigar City sometimes stop in, too. Did we mention it’s only $5 for all you can drink beer?
Brewery Ommegang's Five Cubed -- Presented by Haute Dining
Another day, another food event. This one features five chefs, five beers, and five courses. Five Cubed, get it? Chef Sean Brasel of Meat Market will be playing host, alongside chefs Adrianne Calvo, Brad Kilgore, Alex Chang, and Johnny Sheehan (some dude from Bah-ston). Each course will be paired with an Ommegang beer and a killer view.
The Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by FOOD & WINE
One of the sweetest food festivals in the country is back to sling badass eats and turn South Beach into an absolute mess... but the one event worth braving all that for is Thrillist’s very own Barbecue and The Blues.
Virginia Key Grassroots Festival of Music and Dance
If you’re all about the chill, camp out for four days and jam out to more than 40 bands on beautiful Virginia Key.
2nd Annual Eats & Beats
Right in the middle of SOBEWFF is this “by locals for locals” event, off the regular fest path in the Design District. Last year’s event was a hit and this year it’s only going to get better with eats from Red The Steakhouse, Ralph Pagano’s Naked Taco, and Ana Paz Cakes.
