5 can't-miss Halloween parties in the MSP this weekend

No, your mind’s not playin’ tricks on you, this year Halloween falls on a weekend (Friday specifically!) which means you can either spend the night sitting alone in your room staring at candles, or you can hit one of these five sweet parties…

Luna Rouge

Thursday, October 31st: Minneapolis rock band The Sex Rays + rapper St. Paul Slim + a live art project from the Rogue Citizen artist collective, all multiplied by belly dancing from Luna Rouge = Your chance to start Halloween a day early

Psycho Suzi's Motor Lounge

Friday, October 31st: Thrillist fave Pyscho Suzi’s, is hosting the whimsically awesome Halloween Dance Attack from 3pm-1am with music from The Current’s Barb Abney, $3 brews, a costume party, and the chance to win prizes that apparently include a "severed leg". Um… yayyy?

Friday, October 31st: The strange synth sound and hauntingly bizarre vocals, of alt-j make this English band -- already one this year’s can’t-miss acts -- the perfect live show to see on Halloween.

Doctor P

Friday, October 31st: Twin Cities Dubstep and the Skyway Theatre are bringing your four stages of drop-heavy tunes, including London’s Doctor P, and LA's Protohype, plus movie screenings, costume contests & more. Tickets! Tickets! Tickets!

The Pourhouse

Friday, October 31st: A ticket to Nightmare On Hennepin Street Halloween Pub Crawl gets you at least three drinks, entry into six bars, and a chance to ogle at scantily clad girls. So it'll be just like every other Friday, except this time said girls are trying to win $1,000 for the best costume.

Sign up here for our daily MSP email and be the first to get all the food/drink/fun the Twin Cities have to offer.
