Every Star Wars film gets the parody it deserves. The original trilogy had the unhinged hilarity of Mel Brooks' Spaceballs and prequels had the cutting wit of "Weird Al", so what does J.J. Abrams' box-office bunker-buster Star Wars: The Force Awakens get? Legos! Very funny and charming Legos.
The latest entry in the long-running series of Lego Star Wars video games won't be out until June 28, but to hold you over until then, they've beamed this pitch-perfect parody of the first trailer for The Force Awakens onto the internet. Apparently, the game will also feature new story content, so perhaps these cute, little Legos will answer some of our burning questions. Like, will we ever find out why C-3PO's arm was red? There's gotta be some funny gag to explain that one. Come on, Lego game-makers! Let's get to the bottom of this!
