Nathan Sawaya is bringing 101 of his LEGO sculptures to Times Square in THE ART OF THE BRICK, a new exhibit set to open at the Discovery Times Square on June 14th. It’ll be “the world’s biggest and most elaborate display of LEGO art ever”, so, if you have kids, definitely bring them to show them what they’ll never accomplish."Well, I don’t know", you muse to yourself. "Is it really kid friendly?" Uh, check out Yellow: a man’s upper body ripping itself open at the heart to expose a ponderous emptiness within. So, yeah. It’s pretty kid friendly.Sawaya’s brick-laying work was previously shown in exotic places, including Australia, Singapore, and Little Italy, the latter of which was a tandem exhibition with Dean West that you should check out right here.
