New Midtown Spa Castle Tragically Shut Down by Health Department

In a devastating turn of events, Spa Castle Premier 57 -- the magnificent recently opened Midtown oasis -- has shut its doors until further notice due to health code violations. A spokeswoman for the Health Department commented, "We closed Spa Castle in Manhattan today because they were found to be operating without a permit or an approved safety plan, which is required for all bathing establishments in New York City," reports DNAinfo.

Permits! Safety plans! Snoooooooozee. The Health Department needs to stop meddling. Too many cooks will spoil this luxurious broth. Heck, it's only a spa for crying out loud, what's the worst that could happen?

Oh, oh right. An elderly man drowned in one of the hot tubs at the Queens location a few weeks ago.

We're on your side, Spa Castle. But only if you're on ours. Don't make this so hard. We've got a lot to think about.
