Sooooo, Spokeo -- a site that's sorta like White Pages, minus the whole 'pages' thing -- just dumped some data on where NYC's non-residents come from (based entirely on the fact that nearly everyone holds onto their mobile numbers when they relocate, which is totally true). Apparently, most of NYC transplants come from Connecticut or New Jersey, followed by Massachusetts, Florida, and Rhode Island.
Spokeo even took the extra step, and broke down which specific cities people are coming to the Big Apple from. Here they are:
1. Washington, DC
2. San Francisco, CA
3. Los Angeles, CA
4. Chicago, IL
5. Jersey City, NJ
