Paris Event of the Week So, it’s Beaujolais Nouveau time. Every year on the third Thursday of November, the young wine is released, and most self-respecting wine bars throw a party. A couple of cool places to check out this year: there’s an entire block party on Rue Paul Lelong, organized by the owner of Mémère Paulette restaurants and Pépère Paul which runs from 8-11p; at Marché des Enfants Rouges, there’s plenty of wine tasting along with the classic cold weather dish of lentils and sausages, and if you’re in the market for natural grape hooch, Le Siffleur de Ballons is not only celebrating the vino, but also their birthday.
