Friday, November 22nd, 930p: Widmer Brothers’ and Grand Central Bowling are kicking of ski & snowboard season with The Big Chill, which combines a fashion show and boasts exclusive Winter gear, live music, snowboards tricked out by local artists, a free Widmer mug for the first 200 guests, and some beer to put in it.

Friday, November 22nd, 6p: Beaujolais Nouveau -- a French-style wine that's only fermented for a few weeks -- always drops the third week in November, and wine-heads always throw parties to celebrate; the PDX's best one is at the Heathman, where there will be a multi-room buffet, desserts from St. Honoré Bakery, and wine, obviously. Saturday, November 23rd: EDM artist Derek Smith is bringing his usual glitchy hip-hop beats and buzzing synth lines to PDX when his Pretty Lights play the Memorial Coliseum. Get tickets!
