Saturday, April 5th: From 4-7pm, Westfield UTC will be hosting Uncasked, a neighborhood craft beer fest with 100% of the proceeds from the evening going to support the San Diego Brewers Guild. The entrance fee gets you unlimited bites from Seasons 52, Tender Greens, Eureka!, and PIRCH; 10 drink tickets for craft beers from eight local brewers (such complicated math!) including Karl Strauss, Rough Draft, and more; plus live performances from local musicians.
Saturday, April 5th and Sunday, April 6th: The 41st Annual San Diego Crew Classic is taking over Mission Bay April 5th-6th with more than 100 races and over 4,000 competitors from all over the country. Gates open at 6am for spectators and the beer garden opens at 10am both days. The Brew Classic (rhyming!) will be happening on the 6th with VIP entrance at 1pm and general admission at 2pm. Tickets include 10 beer tasters (4oz/each) with food, while full pours are available for purchase.
Tuesday, April 8th: Chef Tim Kolanko of Leroy’s Kitchen + Lounge in Coronado, and winemaker Andrew Mariani of Scribe Winery in Sonoma are hosting a wine pairing dinner at Leroy’s at 6:30pm. The menu features four courses, plus a cheese course, along with sustainable wines from Sonoma to go with each dish/ help you sustain your good mood. Get your reservations here
Tuesday, April 8th: Ice cream lovers, get to Ben & Jerry’s in Seaport Village from 10am-9pm for their annual Free Cone Day to raise awareness for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
