San Diego Event of the Week The 8th Seaport Village Spring Busker Festival is happening March 29th-30th from noon-6pm each day. This year’s street performers include a sword-swallower, fire-breather, acrobats, break dancers, and more. A Buskers After Dark performance for the 18+ crowd is going down Saturday night from 7-10pm with a DJ, $1 beers, and food specials.
Saturday, March 29th: Gin Fest will be happening poolside at Hiatus Lounge in the Hotel La Jolla from 4-7pm with premium gin tastings, gin cocktail demos from head bartender Chris Burkett, and a grill menu including slow-roasted chicken from Cusp’s Chef Donald Lockhart. Tickets are only $10!
Sunday, March 30th: Members of the Sta. Rita Hills Winegrowers Alliance are working with Marina Kitchen for a wine tasting and BBQ. The wine tasting starts at 3pm and includes sips from 20 member wineries. Stick around after the tasting for the BBQ buffet that includes beef smoked brisket, baby back ribs, white cheddar mac and cheese, and more starting at 5:30pm.
Wednesday, April 2nd: Have a beer with the band Big Head Todd and the Monsters at Rock Bottom Brewery in La Jolla during happy hour from 4-5:30pm. Rock Bottom is hosting a live performance and Q&A with the band plus giveaways for free concert tickets and more. More info here
