A new brewery and a two-day pub crawl

San Diego Event of the Week
Council Brewing just opened the doors to their tasting room last week, but they are ready to share their heady lineup of American, Belgian, and English-inspired brews with you THIS weekend. Their small-batch offerings include a sessionable, well-balanced Lively Banter (American wheat, 5.5% ABV), the New Zealand-hopped Gavel Drop (IPA, 7.1% ABV), and a powerful, malty creation called Pirate's Breakfast (imperial oatmeal stout, 8.6% ABV). Get yourself to Kearny Mesa and make sure to grab a growler or two to stock up for Memorial Day -- they won't be open on Sunday or Monday.
