The Weekend Playbook: Free bacon for a year, a hot sauce dinner, and Zardoz

Toronto Event of the Week The Gentleman’s Expo is a not-nearly-as-sleazy-as-it-sounds consumer show targeting Toronto dudes, kicking off this Fri. There’ll be booze & food, workshops, draws, and giveaways (like free bacon for a freaking year. Repeat, free bacon for a year!). A ticket is only $30 and comes with six drinks, plus a sizable portion of the proceeds goes towards prostate cancer research & awareness. To view the event lineup and details, go right here.

Saturday, November 23rd: Get sauced at the 99 Gallery, where 10 local chefs will prepare snacks all loaded w/ hot sauces. Everything from kimchi to sambal, sriracha to Southern BBQ sauce, and more. Housemade sauces will also be available for purchase after sampling, while everything will be doused w/ Rosewood Estates vinos and harder stuff from Dillon's Distilling. The hot, hot info is right here

Sunday, November 24th: Drink booze and get weirded out at the screening of Zardoz at The Office Pub, which may appear to be 90 mins of Sean Connery running around shooting a gun in a red diaper, but it’s so much more than that (at one point he wears a wedding dress). Now that you know about it, you basically have to head to their site.
