Meat & three for Decatur folks

Because being out of the pot usually means you're in for a bad day, Out of the Pan is a $6.99-or-less meat & three breakfast/lunchery set up right outside “$9 for a YooHoo? Really?” Square, started by an ATL movie-catering vet who's filled stomachs at everything from a recent Young Jeezy shoot to the remake of Footloose, at which there wasn't ever enough bacon...because Andie MacDowell literally couldn't eat enough pork products if she tried! Also, give Kevin a cameo or something.

Breakfast fires up promptly at 7a and includes eggs plus your choice of meat (bacon, salmon croquettes, pork sausage...), along with blueberry/pecan or chocolate chip waffles, a grits/hash browns/biscuit plate called "Cock-a-Doodle-Do", corned beef hash, or hot cakes, also Louie Anderson's favorite children’s game, in which everyone passes a cake around a circle very quickly, until it gets to him, and he eats it.

11a's when lunch begins/you'll wolf down wings (mustard BBQ, Asian chili), grilled chicken sandos, or the Southern Comfort plate of the day, which can vary from pulled pork sliders to chicken & dumplings, and comes complete with sides like turkey dressing, butter beans, carrot soufflé, and "Chuck Wagon Chili", which on a cold day will make you feel wrapped in Woolery.

You get a free beverage with those main plates, and they've also got desserts like strawberry shortcake, bread pudding, berry cobbler, and even fruit-filled fried pies -- not pot pies, to be sure, but they'll still calm your munchies and keep you from feeling hollow, man.
