Get your stomach warmed up for the one-and-only SCP, which gets the heaviest-hitting local chefs to complement entrees with delectable Sunday dinner-ish sides as you hope you don't scratch your ear at the wrong time during a charitable auction for badass private culinary events. Who's bringing what
- Fried chicken comes from Marie Nygren of The Farmhouse, while the Jim 'N Nick's crew'll 'cue a White Oak Pastures bird and add a platter of pimiento cheese and hot links, which will presumably lead to pictures of Kristen Stewart in a car with an old dude named Rupert.
- Todd Richards of the Ritz's throwing down Brussels sprouts slaw w/ beer mustard dressing, plus pickled & smoked pigs' feet, while One Flew South's Duane Nutter's doing corn-brioche toast and rock shrimp.
- Desserts range from homemade Moon Pies from Woodfire Grill's EJ Hodgkinson, to Optimist boss Ford Fry's bourbon ice cream/ peach sherbet push-up pops, also something it's hilarious to call old dudes focused on one chest exercise at the gym.
- Terrapin's bringing the beer, while Miller Union's Steven Satterfield and others will bring the mixology.
Top auction prizes include a private Serenbe dinner/ sleepover (yay!) for 14 with H&F's Linton Hopkins & Greg Best, plus a BBQ for 50 at The Lake Pavilion with eats from Joe Truex (Watershed), Hugh Acheson (Empire State South), and Cupcake Wars
-winning bakeshop Blue Eyed Daisy, all of which will make you the heaviest
