Southern deep dish take-out in The Buck

Surprisingly not a movie about a food cooked in a deep dish that kills a diabetic police horse and subsequently has to contend with Nasty Nate in prison, Half Baked Casseroles is opening Tuesday to hook you up with all-natural southern casseroles and more to enjoy in the comfort of your home, started by two female 'Bama alums after one made 'em for the other when she had a baby, meaning at one point, they both had one in the oven.

Hit the counter, then peep the floor-to-ceiling chalkboard menu (right next to the huge salmon-hued sliding barn doors) to order app dips like blue-cheese-blended pimento, smoked ham/cheese/green onion "Redneck Caviar", and extra-spicy "Smoking" salsa, something Dave Chappelle and Jim Breuer definitely tried at some point while leaving that poor casserole wasting away in jail.

'Role out with one of three sizes (individual, three to four folks, or a six-man), in passed-down-from-nana recipes like homestyle chicken tetrazzini, "Moe's Pork Pasta" (mac-n-cheese w/ pulled BBQ pork), five-cheese beef lasagna, Southern Chick-n-Biscuit, or the breakfasty sausage/egg/cheese "Morning Dew", which anyone who gives a crap about being extreme will be doing if that delicious beverage is discontinued.

They've even got desserts like "freezer pies" (cinnamon/brown sugar, peanut butter/chocolate…), mini ice cream sandos, and "cuter than a cupcake" Cake Pops, although giving your gf those may have the unintended result of making you a sugar daddy.
